No one makes an entrance quite like The Boss.
Bruce Springsteen crashed the Blinded by the Light premiere on Wednesday (Aug. 7) night at the Paramount Theater in Asbury Park.
The rock legend brought some extra fire-power to the red carpet, where he was flanked with his wife Patti Scialfa and the film’s director Gurinder Chanda and her family.
“No one told me that was going to happen,” the film’s star Viveik Kalra commented ahead of the screening, the Asbury Park Press reports.
Springsteen reportedly posed for photos, but didn’t take questions. He let his music do all the talking in the theater, where he jammed on a handful of classics including “Sherry Darling.” See below.
Got to be this close to The Boss at the premiere of @BBTLmovie, a film centered around @springsteen’s music right smack dab in the center of his hometown. Life sure can be dreamy sometimes. Bruce, I wanna be you when I grow up. pic.twitter.com/L1erRpRkA9
