U.K. acts Editors, Bat For Lashes, The Hoosiers and Adele will perform at the BRIT Awards nominations launch party on Jan. 14.
Radio 1 presenter Reggie Yates and Kelly Osbourne will host the event at the Roundhouse in Camden, north London. Osbourne’s parents Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are presenting the main awards show at the Earls Court arena on Feb. 20 and it will be broadcast live on ITV1.
Each of the artists will perform live at the launch party, where this year’s BRIT Awards nominees will be announced. The nominations event will be televised nationally on digital channel ITV2 at 9pm on the same day.
“We’ve seen a lot of new British musical talent emerge in the last year, and four of our best new homegrown acts will perform at the BRITs launch — all of whom reflect the huge diversity in new British music,” says BPI chief executive Geoff Taylor in a statement.
The contenders for 11 award categories will be announced at the nominations launch.
