Britney Spears has posted 10 seconds of her upcoming “Work Bitch” music video online via her Instagram account on Thursday (Sept. 26). Judging by these scant seconds of footage, the ferocity level of the “Work Bitch” clip will be darn near immeasurable.
The most striking vision is the final one: as a white Lamborghini speeds across the shot, Spears and eight cohorts stand in unison on a square white platform, hands on hips, illuminated by the desert sun. There’s also a shot of masked woman crouching down and scowling poolside; Spears exhaling in front of a mirror; and the pop superstar shimmying in between two white pillars, snapping her neck back and forth while declaring, “You better work, bitch!”
Earlier this month, Spears posted some still photos from the “Work Bitch” music video shoot to Instagram, and tweeted, “Gonna get my tan on in the desert in between shots on the #WorkBitch set today. It’s HOT out here people!!!!” The “Work Bitch” video, which was directed by Ben Mor, was also teased through two screen grabs, although they were comparably blurry and inscrutable.
“Work Bitch” debuts at No. 12 on this week’s Hot 100, and enters the Mainstream Top 40 chart at No. 25. Spears’ eighth studio album is due out on Dec. 3, weeks before she begins her “Piece of Me” residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
