Caesars Entertainment is indeed trying to coax Britney Spears into a residency in Las Vegas.
Following persistent rumors, spokeswoman Emily Wofford confirmed that the organization is trying to agree to terms of a recurring performance with the pop singer, according to the Associated Press.
Spears encouraged rumors by attaching a “Viva Las Vegas” hashtag to a tweet last week, responding to a question from her dog’s Twitter account, asking if dogs could gamble in Vegas.
The singer left her position on “The X Factor” last month, freeing up her schedule for a possible trip to Vegas. She told her fans that her reason for leaving was to refocus on her music.
Currently, Caesars Entertainment has Cee Lo Green booked for a residency at Planet Hollywood and Shania Twain in one at Caesar’s Palace.
