To get Britney’s “Glory” album cover look, Melanie used So Fresh So Clean Cool Cucumber Makeup Cleansing Wipes to remove any previous makeup and excess oil, then used a combination of two EX1 Delete Anti Blemish/Dark Circle concealers in colors “D100” and “D200” and EX1 Invisiwear Liquid Foundation in “4.0” for the base, blending them in with a rose water dampened Beauty Blender. Melanie then tapped EX1 Blusher in “Natural Flush” on the apples of the cheeks and used Anastasia Illuminator in “Riviera” as a contouring aid, blending at the cheekbones. For the highlight, she used a tinier contour brush to sweep Anastasia Illuminator in “So Hollywood” along the bridge of the nose and above the cheekbone. She then brushed up the eyebrows, rubbing a dry eyebrow pencil, like Lancome’s Le Crayon Poudre in “Taupe”, against the grain to fill in empty spots, following the natural contour of the eyebrow and finishing with a clear brow gel.
For the 3 step smoky eyes, Melanie used Laura Mercier’s Caviar Stick Eye Colour in “Khaki” as the base on the lid and YSL’s Ombres Duolumieres eye shadow palette in shade “1”, using the darker color for the crease and the lighter color for the brow bone highlight. Using Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide Eye Pencil in “Zero”, Melanie pressed the eyeliner along the lashline for dark, deep coverage and finished by curling the eyelashes and adding loads of Cle de Peau Perfect Lash mascara in Black. To finish the entire look, Melanie lined the lips with a dulled Jane Iredale lip liner in “Sienna” and added color with Urban Decay’s Naked Ultra Nourishing Lipgloss in “Rule34”.
