Michelle Branch, Ashanti, Sugar Ray, and Sixpence None The Richer will perform at this year’s Bogart Tour for a Cure concert, set for Nov. 4 at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. As previously reported, the event will see Britney Spears honored with the Children’s Choice Award from the Neil Bogart Memorial Fund (NBMF) for her work with children through the Britney Spears Foundation.
An NBMF spokesperson tells Billboard.com that Spears is not slated to perform at the event, but notes that one or two more artists may be added to the bill. Dick Clark and comedian Paul Rodriguez are also confirmed to take part in the show.
Tour for a Cure tickets run from $39 to $69, and are available through Ticketmaster. Proceeds will benefit the NBMF.
The NBMF is a division of the T.J. Martell Foundation. The organization has established research laboratories at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles in the fields of developmental therapeutics, pediatric AIDS, and cellular and molecular biology, as well as biology research support and tumor suppressor gene programs.
