Israel is emerging as a new dance music circuit hotspot, with today’s (July 10) announcement that the venerable BPM Festival will host an edition of the event on Sept. 30 in Tel Aviv.
The lineup for the one-day show features Honey Dijon, Danny Tenaglia, Sasha, DJ Koze and many more international artists and Israeli locals spread across four stages in Tel Aviv’s lush HaYarkon Park.
Previously happening in Playa del Carmen Mexico, BPM relocated to Portugal in 2017 after a shooting in a Playa del Carmen club during the January 2017 festival left five people dead. The next Portugual show happens this September 12-15, just weeks before the Israel edition, with a stacked lineup including Maceo Plex, Nicole Moudaber, Chris Lake and many more.
Meanwhile, BPM Israel happens three days after Damian Lazarus’ Day Zero Masada, Dwellers of the Dead Sea, another one-day party happening two hours north of Israel on September 27 with a lineup featuring Lazarus and a crew of Crosstown Rebel all-stars including Beouin, Jamie Jones and Marco Carola. Certainly this powerhouse double-header will give dance music party people form around the world a proper reason to descend upon the Holy Land this fall.
Tickets for BPM Israel are on sale now. See the complete lineup below.
