Boys Noize has been quiet for a while, but that’s all changed. The German electronic music producer and DJ (real name Alexander Ridha) has dropped the extra-large track “Overthrow,” accompanied with a menacing video directed by Lil Internet and Boys Noize himself.
“There’s often more truth in contradictions than there are in one’s expectations,” Lil Internet says of the new clip. “Some of the guys in this video really do span both of these backgrounds… I heard incredible stories. Don’t want to give it away, but this video is actually very real. Also I accidentally left the gun next to a dumpster behind the club.”

Boys Noize has been hinting at new works to come. On Thursday, he shared a picture of himself in the studio with the caption, “F—ING EXCITED TO START SHARING WHAT I VE BEEN COOKING UP FOR YOU.”
