To help promote the U.S. leg of its upcoming Lost Highway Tour, Bon Jovi is asking fans to upload short videos to bonjovilovesmytown.com for the chance to have the segments featured on large video screens throughout the trek’s 38 dates.
The Bon Jovi Loves My Town! contest calls for fans in each market to submit a video that reveals why they love their town. A panel of judges and fans will select multiple videos, and portions will be shown while Bon Jovi plays “I Love This Town.” Additionally, one grand prize winner will receive a pair of Bon Jovi tickets in their hometown, and 10 second-place winners will get a signed copy of Bon Jovi’s latest album, “Lost Highway,” which has shifted 1.1 million units in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The U.S. jaunt begins Feb. 18 at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Neb., and wraps May 1 at Philips Arena in Atlanta. AEG Live, the live entertainment division of Los Angeles-based AEG, will produce the tour in North America and Europe. The tour is scheduled to make stops in Japan, New Zealand, England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Holland and Austria, among other countries.
