WHBQ reports that the “Look Alive” rapper was arrested at a Tennessee residence and detained alongside 19 others as part of a multi-agency investigation. “They weren’t looking for him, and there was no warrant for him personally.” Blocboy’s lawyer Murray Wells relayed to WHBQ. “They may have been looking for other suspects on the premises.”
The 22-year-old had been slated to perform at the Beale Street Festival on Friday (May 3) night. Murray Wells has since relayed to Billboard that “it appears the performance will [still] happen.”
BlocBoy JB was previously arrested in February 2019.
