The special-made video for “Up All Night,” Blink-182’s first single since going on hiatus in 2005, is a montage using all the fan videos made with the band’s music over the years.
Watch below as children, teenagers, adults and animations rock out to their favorite Blink-182 tracks. They skateboard, dance in bathrooms, run outside in their underwear and surf mattreses through hallways in the clips, now set to the band’s first 2011 release, which debuted July 14.

The video begins with flashes of amateur filmography and reads, “To launch our first single in eight years, AT&T helped us search YouTube for every instance of fans using our music without our permission. And then we rewarded them for it.”
Accompanying the video is an awards show, in which Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus and guitarist Tom Delonge give out prizes like “Best Fan Parody Video That Almost Ended In Manslaughter,” “Most Excessive Use of Fisheye Lens,” and “Best Use Of Father’s Bank Account.”
Hoppus explains the project in the award video: “Normally in these situations, you would have been served by a letter from our lawyer, the content would have been taken down, and we would have seen you rot in jail. But instead of that, this time we wanted to try something different.”
The aptly-titled “Blink-182 Film Festival You Didn’t Know You Entered” debuted on YouTube Tuesday (Aug. 2), as part of the band’s collaboration with AT&T. Blink-182’s sixth studio album, “Neighborhoods” is scheduled to release Sept. 27, and they will be headlining the 2011 Honda Civic Tour starting tomorrow (Aug. 5) in Holmdel, N.J.
