Blink-182 fans, take note. A new report from UK’s National Cyber Security Centre, reported through CNN, unveiled the most vulnerable passwords for hacking, and the most common musical artist that was used as a password is “blink182.”
The top 10 most common passwords included number combos such as “123456” and “123456789,” as well as simple phrases like “qwerty” and, of course, “password.”
To avoid cyber breaches, the NCSC recommends using three “random but memorable” terms in a password “Password re-use is a major risk that can be avoided — nobody should protect sensitive data with something that can be guessed, like their first name, local football team or favorite band,” Ian Levy, NCSC Technical Director, said in a statement, according to CNN.
