An injury to drummer Travis Barker has prompted Southern California pop-punk act Blink-182 to cancel 13 dates of its current world tour. The group has scratched all performances scheduled through April 4, including dates in Australia, Japan and Hawaii.
The group intends to be back on the road for a string of North American dates April 27-May 16. A co-headlining jaunt with No Doubt, beginning June 1, will not be affected.
Barker suffered the injury when he fell before a March 12 show in Adelaide, Australia. He played the concert after a doctor put his foot in a cast, but the band returned to the U.S. over the weekend.
Blink 182’s self-titled Geffen set has sold 1.4 million copies in the U.S. since its November release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
