Blink-182‘s 20th anniversary celebration will have to wait.
The veteran pop-punk band has pulled out of the Bamboozle Festival thanks to drummer Travis Barker’s sudden tonsillectomy, the event announced on its Facebook page.
However, My Chemical Romance will take their spot on the main stage, performing before the Foo Fighters. The three-day festival, which also includes Skrillex and Bon Jovi, is set to return to Asbury Park, New Jersey, from May 18-20.

Blink-182 is also canceling a number of other May dates, including shows in New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Quebec. Two concerts at the Winstar Casino in Thackerville, Okla., have been rescheduled for September.
Barker is expected to have recovered by June, when the group will head to the UK to begin a two-month European tour.
