The final ranking also includes a unique metric measuring the ratio of page views to fans.

Last week’s No. 1 artist Rihanna, slips two spots to No. 6, one spot behind Justin Bieber who holds at No. 2. Eminem, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj each drop a rank to Nos. 4, 5 and 6, respectively.
Katy Perry, who tops this week’s Billboard Hot 100 with “Firework,” holds at No. 7 while Ke$ha also remains steady at No. 8. Rounding out the top 10 are Shakira (10-9) and Linkin Park (9-10), who swap spots.

Akon falls just shy of the top 10 (17-11), as his appearance Nov. 30 on CBS’ “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” rouses fan engagement. He ranked in the top 10 in both overall page views and plays for the week.
The top new entry on the chart is Drake at No. 17, who posts a top 10 ranking (No. 6) for total plays.
Unsigned Jamie Lynn Noon debuts at No. 25, as her new holiday single “Silent Night” was featured on the iTunes store in its Holiday New Releases section. The northern California singer translates that visibility into a No. 2 ranking for MySpace Music channel views for the week. Noon is set to self-release a new album, “Angel Spoke,” on Dec. 14. Despite its title and month of release, the set is not a holiday album.
When Britney Spears tweets, people take notice. The diva used her Twitter account on Dec. 2 to announce the release of her new album, due out in March, immediately causing ripples in the social universe. On the Social 50 chart, Spears enters at No. 43, with the chart’s second largest percentage gain in week-over-week new Twitter followers.
