BJ The Chicago Kid delivered his sophomore EP, 1123, on July 26, and just days later, the crooner is continuing the post-release celebration with a sultry new video for “Time Today.”
Brown sugar and honey is all I see/Let me dive in/Let me hide in,” he muses on the seductive track, as the clip follows a dimly-lit, passionate relationship between BJ and model Scottie Beam.
“This is the song that you play when you finally have time, the song you play as you imagine having the time and the song you send to that loved one to prepare for that time,” BJ previously said of the track. “This song simply lets that person know that they’re never forgotten about.”
The singer is set to perform “Time Today” on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday (July 31). Watch the video below.
