Music biopics have recently come back into vogue, with the James Brown saga of Get On Up released in August and the Jimi Hendrix biopic Jimi: All Is By My Side showing a new side of star Andre 3000 when it hits theaters on Friday (Sept. 26). And more biopics are coming, with feature films based on the lives of Aaliyah, Miles Davis, Whitney Houston and N.W.A. all in the works.
