The Billboard Latin Music Marketing Awards, hosted by Telemundo and mun2, announces a new panel of judges who will help select finalists for the competition now open through February 21.
Partnering with the CLIO Awards as part of Billboard’s Latin Music Conference’s 25th anniversary celebration, the awards will highlight campaigns that integrate music and marketing among agencies and labels.
The judges panel includes Luis Miguel Messianu, president and chief creative officer, Alma; Alex Lopez Negrete, president and CEO, Lopez Negrete Communications; Pablo Buffagni, chief creative officer, Grupo Gallegos; Carlos Munoz, vice president, Group Account Director, LatinWorks; Leticia Juárez, Partner, Marketing & Client Services,Castells & Asociados and Leila Cobo, executive director of Latin Content and Programming, Billboard.
“It’s an honor to be part of the first jury panel for the new Billboard Latin Music Marketing Awards,” Buffagni said. “I always thought that the music industry was doing a much better job than the advertising industry in terms of addressing the preferences and needs of the new Multicultural America, so it’s a pleasure to be part of an effort that will touch both areas, the music and the marketing to Latinos.”
Finalists will be announced on April 2, and winners will be honored at a reception hosted by Telemundo and mun2 during the Billboard Latin Music Conference presented by State Farm April 21 to 24 at the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami, Fla. Winners will be highlighted in Billboard magazine and Billboard.biz.
