Veteran rock act X will regroup for a handful of December shows, which run from Dec. 2 in Atlanta to Dec. 10 in Boston. Juliana Hatfield will support on all dates. X was most recently heard from earlier this year via the Shout Factory! DVD “Live in Los Angeles,” taped last Thanksgiving at the House of Blues.
Before the X shows, vocalist/bassist John Doe will be touring Europe in tandem with Peter Case and Mark Weston King. The jaunt continues tomorrow (Nov. 10) in Oslo and comes in support of Doe’s latest Yep Roc solo album, “Forever Hasn’t Happened Yet.”

Beck, Def Leppard and INXS have signed on to perform at the VH1 Big in ’05 Awards, which will premiere Dec. 4 on the music network. The show will be hosted by comedian D.L. Hughley and include appearances by Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan, Jeremy Piven and Danny Bonaduce, among others.
Fans can vote for such awards as big music artist, entertainer, download, old school triumph and feud via Votebig.VH1.com through Nov. 16.

Network Live, a joint venture between America Online, XM Satellite Radio and AEG, is producing two exclusive concerts that will be broadcast across its multi-platforms.
Keith Urban’s Nov. 14 show at New York’s Irving Plaza in New York, will be broadcast live and on demand on AOL Music Live and on XM Live (XM Channel 200), while Madonna’s Nov. 15 performance at KoKo’s in London will be available to worldwide audience via AOL Music Live, XM and multiple wireless providers internationally.
This show will be the first international production and broadcast for Network Live following Live 8.
