Diana Krall and Jann Arden have been added to the Concert for Toronto, set for June 21. Krall will perform at the Air Canada Centre with Arden, Sarah McLachlan, Remy Shand, and Glenn Lewis. Performers at the Skydome include Sum 41, Avril Lavigne, Our Lady Peace, Barenaked Ladies, Tragically Hip, and Swollen Members. As previously reported, 70,000 tickets for the event were sold in three hours.
The Concert for Toronto was conceptualized as a means to battle the city’s tourism and economic problems in the wake of SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), which has caused more than 30 deaths in the Toronto area.
— Jason MacNeil, Toronto

The concert will be broadcast commercial-free internationally via Armed Forces Radio. A tape-delayed broadcast of the event will air later on Armed Forces TV.
