T-Pain Gets Facebook Tattoo on Arm
In an effort to outdo Gucci Mane’s ice cream cone face tattoo, T-Pain has posted a photo on Twitter of his latest body art, an arm tattoo references a popular Facebook feature. “You don’t have to like me,” the tat reads, with the “Like” surrounded by a box and next to a thumbs-up, a la the Facebook icon. “I get a tatt every time I come to Hawaiil,” the rapper posted on Twitter. “I think this ones pretty sweet, unless facebook shuts down soon 0_o.” (@nbtpain)
Alicia Keys Enjoys Egyptian-Themed 30th Birthday Bash
Amidst 19 inches of snow, Alicia Keys celebrated her 30th birthday at Casa La Femme in New York . Her husband, Swizz Beatz, threw her an Egyptian-themed bash that included guests such as Gayle King, Jay-Z and Beyonce. The party, which consisted of belly dancers, sunflowers, orange trees, red velvet cupcakes and Don Perignon, ended with restaurant staff helping the singer dig her car out from under the snow. Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme and Distillers singer Brody Dalle are expecting their second child together. “I am up the duff 3 mo’s aka bun in the oven, seed in the pumpkin, quid in the ocean, lotion in the basket, hole in the donut,” Dalle wrote on Twitter on Wednesday. Pavement Unlikely To Record New Material
Pavement multi-instrumentalist Bob Nastanovich has declared that the group is unlikely to come out with new material. “At this point, Stephen [Malkmus] does not write songs for Pavement anymore, or songs in the Pavement mindset,'” Nastanovich said. The band, which reunited last year to play a string of shows, released their final album, “Terror Twilight,” in 1999. ( Rolling Stone)
Raphael Saadiq Plots Spring Tour
R&B singer-songwriter Raphael Saadiq has announced the dates of his U.S. spring tour, which kicks off Mar. 15 in Dallas. “Stone Rollin’,” Saadiq’s fifth studio album, is set for a Mar. 22 release on Columbia Records.
