St. Vincent NYC Show to Stream Live on MTV Hive
Indie-rock chanteuse St. Vincent will have her Nov. 3 concert at Webster Hall in New York streamed live on MTV Hive, part of the network’s “Live in NYC” series which has included performances by the Horrors, Sleigh Bells and the National in the past. The concert will air live at 9 pm EST.
Freddie Gibbs Drops ‘Cold Day in Hell’ Mixtape
Gangsta Gibbs fans haven’t had much new material from the Gary, Ind. rapper this year, but Gibbs finally released his “Cold Day in Hell” mixtape on Monday (Oct. 31) and proceeded to post Mediafire links to the tape on Twitter. “Hell” feature Dom Kennedy, Freeway, and his CTE boss, Young Jeezy. Glen Campbell to Be Saluted at CMA Awards
Vince Gill, Brad Paisley and Keith Urban will team up to pay tribute to Glen Campbell at next month’s Country Music Association Awards. Gill, Paisley and Urban – arguably country music’s top three guitarists today and all three CMA entertainer of the year winners – will salute the heralded guitarist, Country Music Hall of Fame member and 1968 entertainer of the year. The 75-year-old “Rhinestone Cowboy” singer has Alzheimer’s disease. ( AP)
