‘Justin Bieber: Never Say Never’ Director’s Cut Coming to Target
Fans who didn’t get enough Justin Bieber in the original concert film are in luck: an extended version (34 more minutes of footage), “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never Director’s Fan Cut,” will be on Target shelves beginning August 13 Home Media Magazine reports. The two-disk DVD will come in a collectable keepsake box and will feature behind-the-scenes footage of the Bieb’s My World Tour, along with featurettes titled “Day of the Concert,” “More Less Lonely Girls,” “Sound Check Parties,” “The Dougie” and “The Rocket Ship Girls.” ( THR)
ABC Apologizes for Nicki Minaj Wardrobe Malfunction
While performing on “Good Morning America” this morning, Nicki Minaj endured a wardrobe malfunction that left her bare breast exposed to ABC viewers. The network has since issued a formal apology: “Although we had a five-second delay in place for the Nicki Minaj concert on GMA, the live East Coast feed of the concert regrettably included certain fleeting images of the performer that were taken out of later feeds of the broadcast in other time zones. We are sorry that this occurred,” ABC said in its statement. ( Reuters)
Adele Plans To Find Country Influences For Next Album
In a new interview, Adele says that she plans to spend time in Austin, Tex. and Nashville, Tenn., learning about country, rockabilly and bluegrass, which she was exposed to when touring the U.S. earlier this year. “”The melodies and to-the-point lyrics I have found in a lot of American styles of music is definitely something I’m going be pursuing heavily from now on,” said the “Rolling In The Deep” singer. Organizers of the Oct. 8 Michael Jackson tribute concert “Michael Forever: The Tribute Concert” in Cardiff, Wales, failed to announce artists and provide ticket registration on the official website by the deadline of Thursday (Aug. 4). However, English R&B artist Craig David confirmed his participation via Twitter today: “I am honoured to announce I will be performing alongside some of the world’s greatest artists at the Michael Jackson Tribute Concert!” ( CNN.com)
Dr. Dre To Narrate Game’s New Album
Game‘s upcoming release, “The R.E.D. Album,” will be narrated in full by Dr. Dre, who was already featured with Snoop Dogg on Game’s “Drug Test” track, which leaked online last week. The upcoming album, set to release Aug. 23, is “real theatrical; it’s a movie,” said Game. ( MTV)
