Nick Lachey will release his first post-Jessica Simpson breakup album, “Resolution,” May 9 via Jive. First single “What’s Left of Me,” which premiered last month on AOL Music, is No. 39 this week on the Billboard Pop 100 chart and No. 70 on the Hot 100.
“Resolution” is the follow-up to Lachey’s 2003 solo debut, “Soul O,” which shifted just 171,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
As previously reported, Built To Spill will release its new album, “You in Reverse,” April 11 via Warner Bros. Two new songs, the nine-minute opener “Goin’ Against Your Mind” and “Conventional Wisdom,” can be streamed from MySpace.com.
