According to a series of Tweets, Big Boi has been in the studio with Modest Mouse, working with the band on its new record. The OutKast rapper said via his Twitter: “Me and @mouche1 [producer Chris Carmouche] in the studio workin with Modest Mouse on their new album Turnt up ! Shout out to [front man] Issac [Brock] and the crew!” Then: “Been camped out in the Lab with Modest Mouse all week, workin on the new mouse LP, coolest cats ever. Reba And Blake Shelton To Host ‘Tornado Relief Concert’
Following the recent tornadoes that ripped through many southern states, country superstars Reba and Blake Shelton will host a benefit concert in Durant, Oklahoma on May 26. In partnership with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and Choctaw Casino Resort, the proceeds from the Tornado Relief Concert will be donated to the Tushka Disaster Relief Fund. Tickets will go for sale starting May 6.
Richie Sambora To Enter Rehab
Recent reports suggest that Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora will check into a rehab facility for alcohol abuse. While the band has concerts scheduled in U.S. and European cities starting April 30, no official announcement has been released regarding Sambora’s upcoming stay in rehab. In 2007, Sambora spent a month in a rehabilitation clinic following his divorce and the death of his father. ( TMZ)
Bids for MySpace Reportedly Due by End of Week
News Corp. is looking for initial bids for MySpace by the end of the week and expects to announce a deal around June, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday afternoon. About a half-dozen suitors, including private equity firms, are in the hunt for the social networking firm, with News Corp. looking for minimum offers of $100 million, according to the paper, which is owned by the media giant.
