Mariah Carey may end her silence about her widely rumored pregnancy as early as tomorrow. The singer is reportedly making an announcement tomorrow on the “Today” show, and she has also scheduled an interview with “Access Hollywood.” The news coincides with the release of her new holiday album, “Merry Christmas II You,” next Tuesday. Lil Wayne Gets Correctional Officer in Trouble
A correctional officer at Rikers Island prison has been disciplined for spending too much time in Lil Wayne‘s cell. Capt. Raphael Collazzo, a 20-year veteran, was suspended for 10 days without pay for making an unexplained 45-minute visit to the rap star’s isolated prison cell. Lil Wayne is set to be released on Nov. 4. Justin Timberlake Accused of Cheating on Jessica Biel
Justin Timberlake allegedly cheated on his girlfriend, actress Jessica Biel, with “Daily Show” correspondent Olivia Munn in September. The singer/actor met the 30-year-old actress at a MySpace event last month. Timberlake’s rep has denied the allegation of infidelity. ( Us Weekly)
LimeWire To Shut Down
In a big win for record labels, a judge on Tuesday issued an injunction that will force LimeWire to cease its P2P operation. After today, according to information shared by LimeWire, the company will no longer support or distribute its P2P file-sharing software as the court directed it to disable “the searching, downloading, uploading, file trading and/or file distribution functionality, and/or all functionality.”
John Lennon Letter: Yoko Ono ‘Does Not Sweat’
In a recently discovered note from the 1970s, John Lennon points to wife Yoko Ono‘s physical features to angrily explain to laundry workers that there is no reason that one of his white shirt has turned yellow. “She does not sweat (most Orientals do not sweat like us) — What is your excuse for turning my brand new white shirt yellow?” Lennon writes. Bon Jovi Announce U.K. Outdoor Shows
Bon Jovi have announced that they will play three massive outdoor shows in the U.K. next summer. The veteran rock band will play Edinburgh’s Murrayfield stadium June 22, Manchester Old Trafford Cricket Ground June 24 and the “Hard Rock Calling” event at London’s Hyde Park on June 25. It has also been confirmed that Bon Jovi will appear on Simon Cowell’s U.K. talent show “The X-Factor” on Oct. 31, as well as performing at the MTV European Music Awards (EMAs), held in Madrid on Nov. 7, where they will be presented with the global icon award.
