A pair of new songs by international pop star Kylie Minogue will appear on the “Ultimate Kylie” compilation, due Feb. 1 via Capitol in the United States. The 32-track set will boast the new single “I Believe In You,” which written and recorded by the artist with Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears and Babydaddy, as well as the previously unreleased “Giving You Up.”
The collection spans Minogue’s career from her 1987 hit cover of “The Loco-Motion” through to “Slow,” a single from this year’s “Body Language” that is nominated for a best dance recording Grammy award.
“This collection is very dear to me and holds a lifetime of memories,” Minogue says. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to experiment throughout the years and that my fans have embraced my need to try new approaches… At this point in my career I’m very happy to celebrate the past and look forward to the future.”
