Rilo Kiley’s Jenny Lewis will play her first solo shows in early February. So far, three dates are confirmed for Los Angeles (Feb. 2, Vista Theatre), San Francisco (Feb. 3, Swedish American Hall) and New York (Feb. 5, Angel Orensanz Foundation) and will feature appearances by the Watson Twins.
The latter act lends a hand on Lewis’ upcoming solo debut, “Rabbit Fur Coat,” due Jan. 24 via Bright Eyes leader Connor Oberst’s Team Love label. The same day, Lewis’ Rilo Kiley bandmate Blake Sennett will release a new album, “Sun, Sun, Sun,” via Sub Pop with his side project the Elected.

New York rock act Elefant has set an April 18 release date for its sophomore album, “The Black Magic Show.” The Hollywood/Kemado set was produced by Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Duran Duran) and mixed by Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Jeff Buckley). The first single, “Lolita,” is due to hit U.S. rock radio outlets on Feb. 21.
