‘Glee’ To Take On R.E.M. Next Week
A week after taking on the songs of Britney Spears, “Glee” will feature a performance of R.E.M.‘s 1991 hit “Losing My Religion” on the episode set to air Tuesday at 8 P.M. ET. Cory Monteith’s character Finn Hudson will be performing the track, which has already been released online. (Vulture)

Nicki Minaj and Ciara are among the celebrities who have provided encouraging words to their homosexual fans following recent news stories about an influx of suicide by gay teens due to bullying. “I would encourage my gay fans to be fighters and to be brave… Suicide is never the answer and I know that things always get better,” says Minaj in an interview. Gorillaz have announced that Lou Reed and Mos Def will join De La Soul, Bobby Womack and other special guests at the group’s Oct. 8 show at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Gorillaz will also make their debut performance on “The Late Show with David Letterman” on Oct. 7.

Cee Lo Takes Back Ownership of ‘F–k You’
Although Bruno Mars helped produce Cee Lo Green‘s bleep-filled single “Fuck You” and could have possibly contributed lead vocals, Green has downplayed the possibility of Mars performing the song himself. According to Cee-Lo, the song only works because he’s on it and that “I am a fuck you.” (NY Mag)
