Black Eyed Peas Announce Nov. 30 Release of ‘The Beginning’
The Black Eyed Peas will follow last year’s chart-topping “The E.N.D.” with “The Beginning,” their new album slated for a Nov. 30 release. Susan Boyle‘s appearance on the “Dancing with the Stars” results show tomorrow night has been canceled due to a throat infection. Wilco Starts Working on Eighth Album
Wilco guitarist/keyboardist Pat Sansone has revealed that the band has begun work on the follow-up to last year’s “Wilco (The Album).” “We’ve done a little bit of brainstorming, but the real work is going to begin at the end of [the] month,” says Sansone. (Spinner)
Bruno Mars Could Face Jail Time Due To Arrest
Bruno Mars has been charged with felony drug possession following his drug arrest at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas last month. The charge will likely lead to mandatory probation for the singer, although he could face one to four years in prison if the charge is a second offense. Mars’ single “Just The Way You Are” is No. 1 for the second consecutive week on the Hot 100. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)

My Chemical Romance has revealed the album artwork to forthcoming album “Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys” today on their website. The cover features a spider stamp over a sunlit mountain landscape. The album, due Nov. 22, has been preceded by first single “Na Na Na,” currently at No. 41 on the Rock Songs chart.
Justin Timberlake Bringing Elton John to Las Vegas Benefit
Justin Timberlake announced today that Elton John will join him as a special guest at “Justin Timberlake and Friends, a Special Evening Benefiting Shriners Hospitals for Children” concert on Oct. 23 in Las Vegas. Christina Aguilera, Diddy-Dirty Money, Lady Antebellum and others are also expected to perform at the event, which will be held at Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood Resoirt & Casino’s Theatre For The Performing Arts.
Usher ‘Very Disappointed’ His Mother Didn’t Attend Wedding
Three years after marrying stylist Tameka Foster, Usher talked about his disappointment that his mother did not attend the wedding. Although the R&B singer has since reconciled with his mother, he says that he “wouldn’t do that to my child.” Usher and Foster divorced last year and share two children. (VIBE)
