The first fruit of Beck’s work with producer Danger Mouse has hit the Web. “Chemtrails” was premiered today on BBC Radio 1 by DJ Zane Lowe and is now streaming from as-yet-untitled album from which it’s drawn is due in the coming weeks via Interscope.
On the psych-pop-leaning “Chemtrails,” Beck’s falsetto singing rides along a bouncing bassline and crashing drums, with Danger Mouse’s trademark production touches filing the crannies.
Beck will be on the road throughout the summer, beginning June 25 in Hove, Norway.
