Abigail Breslin Unveils Singing Debut, “Fight For Me’
Actress Abigail Breslin, best known for her role in “Little Miss Sunshine,” has made her singing debut with “Fight For Me” a song that will appear on the soundtrack to her upcoming film, “Janie Jones.” “I was asked to do the movie and they asked me if I would sing and I said yes. I have never done that before, so I was so nervous,” says Breslin. The 15-year-old will perform the song with “Janie Jones” co-star Alessandro Nivola following the film’s premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York tonight (Apr. 29). Check out the track below:

Dwayne Johnson Starring in Charley Pride Biopic
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will produce and star in a biopic of black country music star Charley Pride. The still-untitled film does not have a release date. In the meantime, Johnson’s latest action opus, “Fast Five,” opens today (Apr. 29). ( Variety)
Director Cameron Crowe has unveiled the first trailer for his Pearl Jam documentary, “PJ20,” which will hit theaters in September. The 30-second clip consists of homemade video footage that shows how Pearl Jam got their band name after initially going with Mookie Blaylock. ( Spin)
