Last month, Big Time Rush’s third studio album “24/Seven” scored a No. 4 debut on the Billboard 200 chart, just as the fourth season of Nickelodeon’s “Big Time Rush” TV series kicks into gear. The Nickelodeon/Columbia boy band stopped by the Billboard studio to discuss the differences between “24/Seven” and their previous two releases — and describe what it’s like to roll up on 30-year-old dudes rocking out to their songs.
“It’s definitely much more down-to-earth pop,” the group’s Logan Henderson says of the new full-length. “t’s very much more organic than our last two [albums], and obviously I think, as far as the writing goes, there’s a level of growth and maturity that we kind of hit that we hadn’t hit in the previous albums. I think we’ve done our best writing on this last album.”
