In the midst of recent controversy surrounding his beliefs, Kanye West is receiving unconditional support from his protégé Big Sean.
The rapper reached out to praise West for his hour-and-a-half-long interview with Power 105.1’s Charlamagne tha God, where he discussed everything from Jay-Z to his strong mental health, Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
West posted a screenshot of his text conversation with Sean on Twitter Tuesday (May 1), in which the “Bounce Back” rapper writes, “Interview all GEMS! I felt a shift after I watched it!”

“GOOD ENERGY, needed that. Only love!” he continued, to which West replied, “I love you bro. Sorry for not checking in.”
