Avril Lavigne, Lenny Kravitz, Korn and Linkin Park are among the acts confirmed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Portugal’s premier rock festival Super Rock, set to take place June 9-11 in Lisbon.
Others listed on the bill include Fatboy Slim, Nelly Furtado, Brazilian pop diva Daniela Mercury and Cape Verde Islands palop singer Tito Paris.
The three-day summer festival is sponsored by Portuguese beer company Super Bock and promoted by the Musica no Coraçao.
The site, at the city’s former Expo Park, is expected to draw up to 150,000 festival goers. With the Euro 2004 soccer tournament beginning in Portugal the day after the festival closes, its promoters hope to draw thousands of music tourists and football fans from around Europe.
