By a razor thin margin, Democratic nominee Joe Biden won Wisconsin on Wednesday (Nov. 4), granting him 10 electoral votes in a continually tight race to the presidency.
The result was called just before 3 p.m. ET, with Biden leading by little more than 20,000 votes, a number small enough to allow President Donald Trump to request a recount. Wisconsin’s votes were key to Trump’s 2016 win, which gave Democrats across the nation a glimmer of hope for a Biden presidency amid a tumultuous 24 hours.
