It doesn’t matter if you help co-host one of the most popular morning shows in the country, everyone can get a little star-struck. Hoda Kotb can attest to that after going a bit “fan girl” when Beyoncé showed up for a surprise visit on the “Today” Show this morning (Oct. 5).

The singer’s mother, Tina Knowles, was promoting her new Wal-Mart plus-size clothing line when Beyoncé sashayed onto the set as the last model. Kotb couldn’t contain herself, audibly gasping and throwing her cue cards up in the air as B showed off an outfit. Check out a gut-busting slow-motion replay of Kotb’s reaction.
“Beyoncé still does what her mother tells her to do,” says co-host Kathy Lee Gifford as Hotb tries to compose herself. Beyoncé sits with the ladies and tries to drum up support for her mother’s new line, though the questions sidetrack to her career and how her mother deals with it.
