Beyoncé and Jay Z, the parents of newly born twins Rumi and Sir, might actually be settling down in the West Coast with a brand-new potential home. Well, more like a dream mansion. The two Grammy-award winning artists reportedly have their eye on a modern Bel Air luxury property that’s going for $90 million, according to the LA Times’ real estate sources involved with the sale.
Hefty pricetag aside, the local publication reports the Carter family is supposedly getting the place for a steal as the original asking price was set to $135 million. Nonetheless, if things go according to plan, it will still beat out the highest sale in town to date as TMZ first disclosed billionare David Geffen’s Malibu home was purchased for $85 million back in May.
Now that their family has expanded, it’s about time they found a comfortable place to live, especially given the number of performances they have across the country. They already rented a $400,000/month Malibu space when the twins were first born, so it only makes sense to go all in this time around. Plus, with Bey headlining Coachella next year, this purchase will come in handy.
The newly built 30,000 square foot mansion was designed by architect Paul McClean and includes a spa, media room, four pools, a 15-car garage, and a two-acre basketball court. What more could a power couple and their growing family possibly need?
