“If I needed money, I wouldn’t sell $5 t-shirts,” said Knowles. “I’d sell a Grammy or an MTV award. No, I don’t think so.”
Instead, Knowles hopes to expand the Music World Entertainment complex in Houston within the next five years, and setting up a new studio where the garage sale was held. Knowles did not know how he would spend the profits made from the garage sale.
In 2011, Beyonce professionally split with her father and Knowles divorced Beyonce’s mother, Tina, after 31 years of marriage; Knowles re-married in July 2013. A rep for Beyonce did not return request for comment.
