


Ben Haenow — the 2014 winner of the UK version of X Factor — has announced the release date of his first single featuring American Idol champ Kelly Clarkson.
“Second Hand Heart” is set for an Oct. 9 release. His self-titled album on Syco Records will debut Nov. 13.

Haenow took to Twitter to announce the news, writing “The beautiful @kelly_clarkson has taken my ‘Second Hand Heart’. What an honour! Pre-order: http://smarturl.it/2ndHHiT ”
Clarkson was equally enthusiastic, writing, “Super excited to be featured on @BenHaenow’s new single “Second Hand Heart”! Make sure to pre-order it now! http://smarturl.it/2ndHHiT ”
The two singers continued to share details by tweeting lyrics to each other.

Haenow — who won the show under the guidance of Simon Cowell –collaborated with a host of songwriters for the record, including Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran), JR Rotem (Rihanna, Maroon 5), Julian Bunetta (One Direction) and Steve Robson (Take That, Olly Murs).
His coronation single, “Something I Need,” was crowned the official Christmas No. 1 song on the U.K. Official Singles chart last winter.
