When photos of Bella Hadid and Drake hanging out last fall spilled onto the Internet, rumors began to swirl about a romance between the two. While neither confirmed or denied it at the time, the model is now setting the record straight about her relationship with the rapper.
On Drake’s new album, Scorpion, a few lyrics on the B-side track “Finesse” seem to point to a yearning for a relationship with Hadid. “I want my baby to have your eyes/I’m going against my own advice/Should I do New York? I can’t decide/Fashion week is more your thing than mine,” he raps. “You and your sister/Too hot to handle,” he continues later in the song.
When Perez Hilton posted an article questioning “Is Drake Caught Up on Bella Hadid?” a fan commented, Probably, who hasn’t he banged.” The model quickly hopped on to slam the speculation, writing, “Not me!!! that’s disrespectful. WHY CANT PPL BE FRIENDS W/o all the insinuation.” See below.
