Belgian producer Alex Lustig is a seasoned hip-hop/grime producer, who has worked with the likes of Young Thug, BJ The Chicago Kid, Dizzy Wright, and Skeme. But he’s now building a reputation as a buzzy solo artist in his own right, after dropping the hazy nu-R&B-tinged “Do Wrong,” featuring London crooner Ayelle, earlier this year.
Today, he fires back with his next cut, the broody “No More,” featuring Akacia and Just Blaze signee OnCue, premiering exclusively via Billboard.
“With this track my goal was to mix ambient deep chords with hip-hop and slight trap elements,” Lustig tells Billboard of the song’s origin. “The idea was to have a girl and a guy respond to each other. I love when theres a man and a woman on a song singing together. I feel like theres always something special and real to it. So I wanted to make that with my ambient / hiphop touch to it with a chill drop.”
