2009 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame recipient Jeff Beck has announced Harvey Goldsmith CBE as his new manager.
It is a return to the management field for the renowned promoter, who has worked with everyone from Queen to Madonna as well as both Live Aid and Live 8 alongside Sir Bob Geldof.
“I’m very excited about working with Jeff, it will be a great partnership,”
said Goldsmith. “He is raring to go and his band are incredible, just
brilliant. There should be a new album by the end of the year and who knows where we can go with that.”
The April 4 Hall of Fame induction will be Beck’s second; in 1992, he was
honored with his former band the Yardbirds.
