BMG Music Publishing announced Tuesday (Feb. 20) that Bebe Rexha has renewed her global co-publishing deal with the company.
Rexha first signed with BMG in 2013, when she wrote the Eminem and Rihanna hit “Monster.” She since has amassed more than 11 million overall single sales and 3.35 billion total global streams of her own. Rexha has been dominating the Hot Country Songs chart recently “Meant to Be,” her single with Florida Georgia Line.
“Working with and seeing Bebe’s career explode through the years has been a great source of pride for BMG,” said BMG’s US president of repertoire and marketing Zach Katz in a statement. “The tireless work she’s put into her songwriting craft is evident in the enormous success she’s achieved, becoming one of the most in demand writers and exciting new artists today.”
Added Rexha: “Zach Katz, Andrew Gould, Jon Chen and the entire BMG family have been some of my biggest champions and cheerleaders. We’ve had so much success together and that’s due to their creative energy and love. I’m so excited to extend our relationship.” Attorney Kenny Meiselas of Grubman, Shire & Meiselas, represented Rexha, who is managed by Adam Mersel, in the deal.
