Update (Nov. 1): There are still some advent calendars left, just in time to receive it before the holidays. Shop here.
Remember loving advent calendars as a kid? If you’re a music lover, it looks like those days aren’t over: UK brand Hero Collector is releasing a special Beatles advent calendar that’s available for pre-order now.
Fans of the Beatles will find nods to the legendary band both in and outside the themed advent calendar. The whole package – comprised of an outer box, four inner boxes and 24 gift boxes – might be hard to throw away thanks to its rainbow pop-art images of all four rockers.
Inside each of the 24 gift boxes is a unique, Beatles-themed surprise. Although Hero Collector is keeping most of the gifts under wraps (no pun intended), they have confirmed a few: a Yellow Submarine-shaped tea infuser, a set of coasters decorated with the Beatles’ 45 sleeve art and a Beatles Christmas tree ornament. Plus, these gifts boast collectible-level quality (no cheap chocolate to be found).
The Beatles advent calendar can be preordered now at EagleMoss.com here – whether for yourself or any Beatlemaniac loved one. As of now, the estimated delivery date is October 31st, 2021. Pricing for the limited-edition set is $129.95.
Before cracking open the new advent calendar on December 1st, fans have a few ways to appreciate the Fab Four in the meantime. The massive 50th-anniversary reissue of John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band just came out in April, and boasts a whopping 159 tracks that include unreleased demos, rehearsals, outtakes, jams, and studio conversations, as well as 14 “ultimate mixes.” Buy the super deluxe edition here.
Also look out for Peter Jackson’s much-anticipated documentary on the band, The Beatles: Get Back. The six-hour piece will focus on the making of the band’s penultimate studio album Let It Be, and is set to arrive on August 26th, streaming exclusively on Disney+.
As for the Beatles advent calendar: the officially-licensed collaboration is expected to sell out quickly so we recommend placing your order now on EagleMoss.com.
