This year’s BBC Music Awards proved that the British love their indie music. That’s not to say the nominees and winners weren’t big names — there is no bigger name than Adele — it’s just that in addition to some of our favorite pop acts, there was a variance of indie and rock artists to add to your band-shirt collection.
