The force is strong in this collaboration. Barbra Streisand has spent a session in a recording studio with Daisy Ridley, the British actor who starred as Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Ridley posted a string of Oscars-related photos on her Instagram account, followed with a snap of herself and Streisand posing in front of a mixing desk. The caption reads: “I’m gonna end this spate of pictures detailing my insane weekend with this… Ummmmmmmmmmmm..”

It’s not known what came of their time together, or whether their efforts could appear on a follow-up to Streisand’s Billboard 200 chart-topping duets album Partners.
The get-together comes on the heels of The Hollywood Reporter’s 2015 Women in Entertainment event last December, where Streisand appealed to women to work together, rather than against one another.
