For the second year in a row, K-pop boy band B.A.P are heading to the U.S. They’ll tour six cities on their 2017 World Tour ‘Party Baby- U.S. Boom’ in April.
B.A.P, a hip-hop-oriented Korean act with a flair for dramatic music and performances, will begin the concert series in Atlanta on April 5 (originally planned for April 6) then end on April 16 in Los Angeles. The Party Baby tour comes a year after the group’s Live On Earth 2016 World Tour, which saw them visit multiple cities in the U.S. last April.
One of the most frequently visiting K-pop acts, The Party Baby tour is the fourth that B.A.P brings to the US. Along with the aforementioned concert series, B.A.P previously toured the States in 2013 and 2014.
The tour’s name references the band’s fandom — known as both BABY and BABYz — and the festive energy that B.A.P will bring to the concert stops. According to a statement from concert organizer Powerhouse, the six shows will feature opening sessions from “renowned DJs that will lead to a party-esque atmosphere.”
Since arriving on the K-pop scene with a powerful sound in 2012, B.A.P has released three studio albums and multiple EPs. Their latest album, Noir, came out in November and topped the Billboard World Album chart upon its release.
Tickets go on sale Feb. 13.
