Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga already has plans for Valentine’s Day in 2020.
The regional Mexican group took over social media on July 29 to announce that they will perform at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif.
“This February 14, 2020 we will make history!,” posted the band on social media along with a minute clip sharing the news.
In 2003, Sergio Lizárraga founded the 16-piece Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizárraga (also known as Banda MS) becoming the most successful regional Mexican music act in an era where urban music dominates. The group performs banda music, a subgenre of regional Mexican music that also includes mariachi, ranchera and norteño.
The tickets for the Staples Center show will be on sale on Friday, Aug. 2.
