Like everyone in their hometown of Atlanta, the members of Casting Crowns have been caught up in the unusual winter storms that have struck the Southeast in recent weeks.
Their followers on social media got a taste of how these family-rooted musicians survived their snow days.
“Hey guys! I’m having a Q&A time on Instagram at home since the kids and I are iced in,” frontman Mark Hall posted on the band’s Facebook page on Feb. 12. “I’ll post a few of the vids on Facebook:) I’m markhallcc on Instagram.”
Bassist Chris Huffman tweeted two days later: “Power is out, so [my wife] Amanda & [infant son] Silas rest with the fireplace going while the girls & I watch a movie in the van & de-ice the windshields.”
Violinist-singer Melodee DeVevo updated her followers: “Snow day dinner= breakfast…eggs, hash browns, sausage…oh and homemade cinnamon rolls!” Then added, “We are just totally falling off the health wagon today…ya know since it’s the end of the world and all!”
